Presque Isle Gateway District Plan

One of the five focus areas in the Millcreek Township’s comprehensive plan - Embrace Millcreek - is to Create a Distinctive and High-Quality Gateway District to Presque Isle State Park. More than 4 million people visit the Park annually. Although the Park is the main attraction there are several other significant assets that attract people to the district including Scott Park, Waldameer Amusement Park, Colony Plaza, West Erie Plaza, and a variety of other local businesses. The Presque Isle Gateway District Plan looks to create a cohesive district that leverages these assets and builds a character and quality of place that drives economic development to serve residents and visitors.

Ingalls Planning & Design developed a master plan that identifies areas for potential redevelopment and infill development as well as street and trail improvements.
